The purpose of this website is to increase community awareness (yes, all of our community… churches, businesses, civic and other support groups, and most importantly, our youth)  of Street Wise Ministries, its mission, vision, and background.  We open our hearts and arms and extend an offer to the youth in our communities around Front Royal, VA, to come check us out or stop by and see if the type of support and hope we strive to provide, whether spiritual, emotional, or by simply providing that helping-hand, or shoulder to cry-on, is the support that can help you through your current challenge, or over your next hurdle.

 

Street Wise is for youth of all backgrounds, who face the challenges of today’s society.  Through ministering, mentoring, and helping others and their community by participating in various activities, we strive to find meaning, ways to cope and grow, and together with God’s help, tackle these challenges in any way we can.

 

For our community leaders, civic organizations, and people who simply care, we invite you to lend your support to this effort through various means...which can range from volunteering time, to providing donations of various types to help us to continue our mission, and to reach more and more of our youth with a positive and reassuring message of hope.  

Our Vision

It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.  Long before we first heard of Christ, he had his eyes on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone.

Streetwise Ministries is a group of young people bringing a message of hope from our generation to our generation.  We provide hope in a life free of abuse, physical and substance, hope in an education, hope in belonging and safety.  This hope is found in service to others, education, friendship, mentoring, spiritual guiding, recreation and community involvement.
